Anita Mckeown is an artist who works in video amongst other media. Her films are site specific and interested in the re-presentation of a location through re-mixing and processing documentary footage of the area gathered under the direction of the area's residents, using a range of 'consultational' strategies. The resulting films are psycho-geographic portraits that reconstruct time and space creating narratives that lies somewhere between fact & fiction.

She also promotes the work of other independent film makers through a series of guerilla projection tours with her mobile cinema showcasing the work of South London filmmakers and those from Memphis, Tn & New Orleans, La.
