I have been writing from an early age and my fascination for story telling led me to study a BA in Film Production. Since graduating in 2003, I have managed to balance my personal projects with a successful career as an assistant director.

I have worked on productions such as Little Dorrit, Wimbledon, Sense & Sensibility, Brick Lane, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and 28 Weeks Later. This on set experience has given me a superb insight into the industry, as well as invaluable knowledge of directing and script styles.

My first feature film script, ‘I Am Tyler Marks’ was given a development grant from Screen South and the UK Film Council in 2005. This was co-written with Mark Beynon, a storytelling partnership that started when we wrote for the theatre in our teens.

In 2008, I made the move into directing with ‘The Beachcombers’; a 10-minute romantic tale starring Charity Wakefield and Rasmus Hardiker, funded by Film London via the Southern Exposure Film Fund. It went on to win the 2008 Best Of Borough Award (voted for by the viewers of ITV London Tonight) presented at BAFTA. The film is now being distributed by Shorts International.

Following ‘The Beachcombers’ success, I decided to make my second short film – In Passing. The 1940’s drama starred Lesley Sharp, Russell Tovey and Sean Pertwee and is set for the 2009/2010 festival circuit.
