After graduating from Brunel University, Marlon went on to work as a runner and researcher at the BBC, Channel 4 and RDF, before becoming a script editor.

Marlon's first film as a writer/director was Fork in the Road, his graduation project. Shooting and directing a film in his final year inspired Marlon to become a film-maker.

Marlon has gone from strength to strength as writer and director, winning bfm short film award for best screenplay for Strictly Ghetto and completed The Real Deptford Tales. He also recently worked in the Ashley Walters drama Life and Lyrics (2006)
