Congratulations to the winners of this year's Southern Exposure Film Fund. Six filmmaking teams from Lewisham, Lambeth and Southwark were awarded grants of £2000 each to make their films on subjects as diverse as cage-fighting and unstoppable dancing hands. Three documentaries and three fictional shorts were chosen from a record breaking number of applications. The filmmakers are: Charlie Graley - Crazy Hands Christian Hayes - A Guide to Lovemaking Stephen Fingleton - Driver Jesse and Daniel Quinones - Caged Theo Bryer - The Ace Card David Balfour - New London Terrain Shooting begins on all films in late January, early February for delivery at the end of March. With past filmmakers winning ITV's Best of Boroughs Awards £2000 prize and showcased at Cannes, Edinburgh, Palm Springs and London International Film Festivals, we are very excited about the prospects for the most recent recipients of the fund.
